This year, we brought robotic technology from @Metatool_project to the Museum of Human Evolution (@Museo Evolución Humana) in Burgos, #SpainYou can watch the summary video here!

Technology has been part of our society since ancient humans, when they developed the first tools more than 3 million years ago. Maybe robots will be part of evolution museums in some years from now. The scientific dissemination activity had a great reception by visitors of all ages, including school kids who were visiting one of the best museums in Spain. In a privileged location close to the Atapuerca archaeological site, with up to five hominid species found there, the METATOOL project crew with TIAgo robot, @Rodrigo Alonso Alcalde (director of the Museum) @Eudald Carbonell Roura (director of Atapuerca site),  Jose Maria Martel (vicepresident of @CSIC), @Diego Martín Puig (professional knapper) and the wonderful journalist @Rosa Martín Tristán, livened up a great day of history, science and evolution.
